Here’s How Employees Turned Birthdays Into Opportunities to Make a Difference

And yes, it is one time of the year that gives you a chance to give back. That’s exactly what happened when these generous employees from iResearch Services Pvt. Ltd. decided to share their joy with those in need.

Siddharth’s Thoughtful Celebration

In December 2023, Siddharth, a generous employee at iResearch, reached out to the Giving for Good Foundation with an idea to celebrate his birthday a little out of the ordinary. He wished to organize a biryani party for children at a CCI (Children's Care Institution) in Pune. His gesture was met with smiles and laughter as 30 children enjoyed the delicious biryani, creating a memorable day for everyone involved. This act of kindness shows how personal celebrations can be transformed into meaningful events that bring shared joy.

A Heartwarming Saturday with Soniya and Payal

Fast forward to July 6th, 2024—Soniya and Payal, a dedicated employee duo, decided to combine their celebrations to double the joy of giving. Joined by their families, they visited the Investment in Man Trust (IIMT) Dnayesh Balsadan in Phulgaon to celebrate with 25 young girls. The occasions? Soniya’s birthday and Payal’s daughter’s first birthday. 😊 Imagine the excitement, disbelief, and sheer joy as each girl received a brand-new pair of shoes! The moment of joy captured in their sparkling eyes will forever shine in our memories.

Remember when cakes and candles were the highlight of your birthday? That cherished moment came to life as the children eagerly gathered around, cheering for the cake-cutting ceremony. With each slice shared, laughter filled the air, leading into a delightful biryani feast. The children’s joy made the day truly unforgettable for Soniya and Payal.



One of the most touching aspects of the day was the interaction between the children and the volunteers. The volunteers found themselves sharing stories of their own childhoods and their career journeys. In turn, they were captivated by the girls' dreams and aspirations. It was a day of learning, sharing, and connecting, where the volunteers felt as enriched by the experience as the children did.
